Narrow width carpets, manufactured for end-use as carpet
runners or stair carpet runners, are woven in most cases on axminster
or wilton
looms.
Minima requested to produce custom made carpet runners woven
on narrow looms are actually quite low, and this option is
often the selected one in order to customize a new project,
or to coordinate colours-ways of a stair carpet runner
to the ones of an existing corridors carpet in an hotel for example

Within the same spirit,
using narrow width bespoke carpets to produce carpet runners or stairs

of customization of the interior design of a vast number
of location such as a private residences, corporate offices, museum,

buildings, hotels etc... and in fact any place where a made to order
runner or a custom made stair carpet runner have to be fitted.

"Rules" remain the same as for any other custom made carpets, woven to order i.e. :
1°) Choosing the runner central design and eventually coordinated borders :
- either by selecting a pattern from the 15 000 (or nearby...) existing designs in archives we have access to.
- either, by letting us create your own carpet design from your Hotel or compagny's logo, or from any other graphic element you would submit to our design studio.
2°) Selecting the colours from our 250 standard ones or (with no price increase) by asking us to dye the yarns to your own custom colours (as an example it may be the ones of a fabric you may wish to coordinate your new runner or stairs carpet runner).
3°) Selected Design(s) within the agreed colour scheme will then be submitted to you at a first step with computer print(s) to give you an overall idea of how your runner will look like and help you to have your choice finalised.
4°) Making up of a carpet hand-trial showing the design (in fact they are still called so but from a certain time already they are produced on specific sampling machines) with yarns dyed to selected colours, in order to get it approved before weaving start.

Another easy way to get your customized and custom made carpet runner or stair runner carpet
Another easy way to customise any carpet runner or stair carpet runners is to "recolor" and so customize to your own needs an existing carpet runners or stair runners carpets i.e. to select one design from our stock ranges section and have it woven to your own colour selection.
This is easier than most people will think. We are familiar to that kind of semi-custom jobs for more than 20 years and once the colours selection is done, prior to manufacturing of course and for pre-weaving approval, we will provide you with a computer print and wool tufts of the selected shades or/and a hand trial according to the size of the job.

Minimum requested quantity remain the same as above but manufacturing time can be improved in most cases from 4 to 6 weeks for a 100% custom carpet runner to 3 to 4 weeks for a semi-custom job depending of the size of the order.
